1. THURSDAY NOON VIGIL FOR PEACE

Our weekly noon vigils are on Thursdays. We vigil for peace in front of the Rolla Post Office THIS THURSDAY, March 25, (and all subsequent Thursdays until peace is established) from Noon to 1:00 PM. Please try to join us. The temperature is predicted to be in the mid 50s with a 90% chance of rain. If you do not feel comfortable standing with us in front of the Post Office, please consider driving by and showing your support for our message by honking your horn and flashing a peace sign.

2. PENTAGON WELFARE QUEENS

According to William Astore, we, the taxpayers, pony up about a trillion a year to the Pentagon Welfare Queens, while many of us go without health insurance and watch our homes go into foreclosure, (click here).

3. RALPH NADER ON AID TO ISRAEL

Ralph Nader (remember, the guy we had 4 chances to elect president and blew every one) talks about how US support for Israel undermines our own national security, (click here).

4. TEA COZIES SHOW THEIR TRUE COLORS

The Tea Cozy movement showed its true colors in Washington shouting obscenities and racial and homophobic hate words, (click here). Check out the article I wrote on last year's gathering of the Rolla Tea Cozies, (click here). Hopefully, there won't be another this year.
