1. THIS WEEK ONLY: WEEKLY NOON VIGIL MOVED TO TUESDAY, APRIL 20

Because of the Earthday celebrations on Thursday April 22, We will hold our weekly noon vigil at the Post Office on Tuesday, April 20. The following week we return to Thursday vigils. Don't forget to attend the Earthday celebration Thursday, April 22, 10AM to 3PM on the Missouri S&T campus, on the walk north of Havener Center. Helen and I will be at the Great Rivers Environmental Law Center table.

2. FOR I WAS AN HUNGRED, AND YE GAVE ME NO MEAT

The failure of the international community to adequately fund and distribute emergency aid to Haiti, is bringing Haiti closer to chaos and violence, (click here and here). But Haitians shouldn't feel that they have been singled out. Here's an article on the lack of effective emergency aid to Yemen, (click here). Remember that, next time you hear about terrorists in Yemen. The title above in from Matthew 25, King James Version.
