1. THURSDAY NOON VIGIL FOR PEACE

Our weekly noon vigils are now on Thursdays. We vigil for peace in front of the Rolla Post Office THIS THURSDAY, July 2, (and all subsequent Thursdays until peace is established) from Noon to 1:00 PM. Please try to join us. The temperature is predicted to be in the mid 70s with a chance of rain. If you do not feel comfortable standing with us in front of the Post Office, please consider driving by and showing your support for our message by honking your horn and flashing a peace sign.

2. SATURDAY, JULY 4 PEACE VIGIL 6:30 LIONS CLUB PARK ENTRANCE

We will hold our 3rd annual Fourth of July vigil for peace on the public right-of-way at the main entrance to Lions Club Park at 6:30 PM on Saturday, July 4. The temperature is predicted to be in the low to mid 80s with a chance of rain. Please come if you can.

3. DON'T THEY JUST LOVE US?

After six years of an illegal occupation, Iraqis celebrate withdrawal of US troops from Iraqi cities, (click here) . The illegal occupation will continue in spite of the withdrawal of US troops to bases on Iraqi soil. Thousands of Pakistanis demonstrate against the US and the war which the US has brought to Pakistan, (click here) .

4. ISRAEL KIDNAPS HUMANITARIAN WORKERS BOUND FOR GAZA

In an act of piracy, Israel has boarded the ship, "Spirit of Humanity", and kidnapped the 21 humanitarian workers on board as the ship headed toward Gaza with badly needed humanitarian aid, (click here) .
